A design engineer by trade, Garry Foreman grew weary of the pitfalls of corporate life and longed for a way to control his own destiny. He decided to build his own business centered around his love for playing arcade games. In 1980, Garry and his wife Judi purchased two machines and began placing them in bars and pizza shops. As the business grew, more machines were added and before long they had machines in an impressive list of businesses. In 1995, Garry and Judi opened The Pinball Shoppe in North Olmsted to make arcade games available to the retail market. We met with Judi recently, and listened as she described the products and services The Pinball Shoppe offers;
The Pinball Shoppe specializes in the sales of new and used pinball and slot machines, video games, skeeball, bowling machines, jukeboxes, and neon signs. All of our used machines have been completely rebuilt and are running perfectly when they leave our shop. Each machine comes with a ninety day guarantee and in-home repair service is available when needed.
Although we carry new machines, most homeowners are more interested in fully reconditioned used that are much more reasonable in price. Another advantage we offer is that we do take trade-ins. If an owner becomes tired of their machine in a few years, they can always trade it in and receive credit toward the purchase of another.
All of our pinball machines are designed for four players and are completely self-contained. When you or your children want to play, all you have to do is press a button and the game starts.
